There is absolutely no violence, just loads of prizes. The Knights Battle scratch card game is based on War, the popular children’s card game. I must admit that I played this delightful game more for its graphics and background music than for its theme or prizes. The sound of drums and military music is awesome; it won’t fail to fill you with the spirit of battle. An ancient world map is placed behind the game screen, and the soft color scheme of the scratch card game will make you feel content and relaxed in spite of the battle theme of the game.

The game can be played with as few as one pair or as many as six pairs of cards. At the end of a round, your cards are compared with the dealer’s, and you will win the prize if your hand turns out to be the stronger. However, if you want to win the top jackpot of £200,000, you must be bold enough to bet maximum.

Here is how you can play Knights Battle.

• The game offers you six pairs of cards, one of each pair for the dealer and one for you.
• You can use the – and + signs near the Number of Pairs option to choose the number of pairs you would like to play.
• Place a bet by using the – and + signs near the Card Price option.
• Use your space bar or the Play button to start playing.
• The cards will be turned over and the card of the highest value receives the prize.


In case of Knights Battle, the highest card is the Ace and the lowest card is the deuce. Unfortunately, there are no wild cards. If you want to play all the pairs, as I did, you simply have to use the Max Pairs button.
