Idaho State Lottery and Intralot Extend Online Agreement
Friday, 28.10.2011
The Idaho Lottery Commissioner has extended the online agreement between the Idaho State Lottery and Intralot, the Greek provider of gaming and financial processing systems.
The three year extension comes after the western state's lottery converted to its system. The seven year contract that was to end in 2014 has been extended for a further three years until 2017.
In addition to the agreement for an extension, Intralot USA will provide the Idaho State Lottery with the latest terminals, special peripheral devices and a satellite network. The network is designed to link retailer terminals from around Idaho to a central place. They will also provide systems and services for improved management and operations. These will include a hotline for technical support, repairs, maintenance, logistics, warehousing, marketing and field operations.
Constantinos Antonopoulos, CEO at Intralot said, "Intralot's well-established presence in the United States ratifies our relationship of trust with lotteries in the United States."
"This has been a result of our consistent offer of pioneering products and services that focus on addressing the needs and expectations of the lotteries as well as the hard work and dedication to excellence of the Intralot USA team. We are looking forward to continuing our excellent cooperation with the Idaho State Lottery and providing our added-value services to the state."
Jeff Anderson, Director of Idaho Lottery discussed the extension and said, "The Lottery, the state and the people of Idaho have benefited greatly from Intralot's relationship with us. Intralot has consistently provided excellent technology and service at a value-based price. I look forward to continuing our productive relationship with Intralot as the lottery moves towards new technology and sales channels for the benefit of the good causes we support in Idaho, Public Schools and the Permanent Building Fund."
